SCHOOL TRIP TO PULAU UBIN,SINGAPORE

   
   On 8 May 2010, I went to PULAU UBIN. When I was riding the boat, it was alot of fun.The ride costs $2.50. We then went to one of the kampung and put our bags.We were divided into three groups, A, B and C. I was in GROUP C. So my first tour is Chek Jawa.I went to the British house.It was an exhibit.There are two ways to get there. By Chek Jawa or a private boat. Private boat must go to the private jetty near the British house not the PULAU UVBIN JETTY.

    Then,I went to the JEJAWI TOWER. It is 20 meters high. When I went up,I wasn't scared at all. The view was so beautiful. I wish I can bring my camera and took a photo of it. BUT, when I was going down the stairs, I was DAMN SCARED. I was the last one to get down. Then we went back to the kampung.We took a break. Then, it is the second shift. My second tour is to the opposite kampung. Actually someone is living there, but we were permitted to enter the house while the owner chat with my teachers at the backyard.

   The house was so nice even though it was dirty.I also played some traditional games.Five stones, spinning top and "congkak". We didn't get to play the mud because it was raining.But I was thankful because I didn't get dirty.Group A and B get to play the mud.But they were dirty.Next we went back to the first kampung we went. It is the third shift. The last activity was, BATIK PAINTING! My favourite. I have always wanted to learn that. I chose a picture.It was an ostrich. Firstly, we need to wax it on the tracing so that when we paint them, the colour do not go to another side.

   When I finished it, I pass it to the so-called teacher.Then we gathered infront of the kampung. There was a prize giving ceremony. Then we went to the jetty.We ride the boat and when back to our homeland.We went back school and was given our certificate and our BATIK. Then we went home.
